Seasons: four Drops, and a Season rating that starts at 1,000

By the Sivex team Last reviewed

◆ Quick answer
A season is 4 Drops of two weeks, about eight weeks, with every boundary on a Wednesday at 00:00 UTC. Each season your Season rating starts again at 1,000 and the Drop ranks by it. Your Sivex Rating never resets.

What is a season?

4 back-to-back Drops of 14 days each. About eight weeks.

Every Drop window closes on a Wednesday at 00:00 UTC, and the next one opens at the same instant. Each window is paid on its own, and is named like “Season 0 · Drop 1 of 4”.

When does Season 0 run?

Season 0 opened at launch, 28 Oct 2026 08:30 UTC, and ends 23 Dec 2026 00:00 UTC.

Season 0 Drop windows (all times UTC)
Season 0 · Drop 1 of 4closes Wed 11 Nov 00:00 UTC
Season 0 · Drop 2 of 4closes Wed 25 Nov 00:00 UTC
Season 0 · Drop 3 of 4closes Wed 9 Dec 00:00 UTC
Season 0 · Drop 4 of 4closes Wed 23 Dec 00:00 UTC

Season 1 starts 23 Dec 2026 at 00:00 UTC, and seasons follow on from there.

What resets, and what does not?

The Season rating resets to 1,000. The Sivex Rating never resets and never decays.

The Season rating uses the same rules as the Sivex Rating: every ranked match moves it by how you finish against the lobby. It starts at 1,000 at your first ranked match of the season. A match counts toward the season it closes in.

◆ Why reset it

A new or returning player gets the same shot as everyone else. Each season, form and steady play win, not a lead built a year ago.

Who is eligible for a Drop?

An active Sivex Pass and 10 ranked cash matches inside that Drop’s window.

A match counts when you paid a cash entry, it was ranked, it was not a freeroll, and it closed inside the window. The Pass has to be active when the Drop closes.

How does the Drop pay?

By Season rating at the window close. The top 1% of eligible players are paid, at least 3 every Drop.

The pool is $5,000. 5% goes to the Community Pool first, and the winners split the other $4,750, banded toward the top. See the Drop for the bands.

Common questions

What is a season on Sivex?
4 Drops of two weeks each, about eight weeks. Every Drop window closes on a Wednesday at 00:00 UTC. Season 0 opened at launch, 28 Oct 2026 08:30 UTC, and ends 23 Dec 2026 00:00 UTC, when Season 1 starts.

No. The Sivex Rating is permanent: it never resets and never decays. The Season rating is the one that resets, to 1,000 for everyone, and the Drop ranks by it.
